Local Gay Venues
Please note The Boiler Room (formerly the Elm Tree) in Guildford is no longer a gay pub and the Hautboy Inn in Ockham is now closed

Last Saturday of each month from 9:00pm to 2:30am. Entrance now £7 plus a contribution to the bar.
Also "Friday Night Late" , every week from 9pm to 12am: £5, drink or two free. A raffle, coffee, tea and light snacks provided too!

Now a regular gay venue - popular with lesbians.
The Fountain Inn in Handcross - located in the High Street, going out of the village (B2110).
Run by a friend of Gags! Various theme evenings (Karaoke, Drag, etc.). Ample parking. ‘Straights’ usually in the bar just inside the door. The gay bar is to the right and behind this area.

Popular club open Fridays and Saturdays 9pm to 3am. Admission £3 Fridays and £5 Saturdays.
The Richmond Arms. 20 The Square, off Princes Street, Richmond-upon-Thames
Very popular pub. Late nights: Thursday (midnight), Friday and Saturday (1am). Stripper every Wednesday, cabaret every Thursday.

Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre in Guildford provides telephone helpline and counselling. Their web site is at http://www.rasasc-guildford.org/ A telephone helpline for men, staffed by trained male volunteers is open Monday evenings 7.30-9.30pm on 01483 568000 [more are planned in the future]. This helpline has the ability to receive and send text messages. There is another telephone helpline for men and women, staffed by trained female volunteers open evenings 7.30-9.30pm [except Saturdays and bank holidays] on 01483 546400. Strict confidentiality is maintained at all times.
